Our Team
We are an “every member ministry” – a church in which every person is active and involved. We believe that God equips each one of us and calls us to share in the ministry of the church to congregation and community. Within this overall ministry, we operate a small professional ministry team of staff and Elders. By doing this, we acknowledge that God has given gifts to his people for the sake and growth of the community (1 Corinthians 12). We also recognise the importance of biblical authority in the Church. Our leaders are called to reflect this.
These leaders coordinate and facilitate the ministry of Downfield Mains. Our desire is to live out personal revival and shape God's kingdom 'on earth as it is in heaven.' We are called by God to love others and minister the gospel in our congregation, the city of Dundee and nation of Scotland.
